Public Service Announcement

Do you remember the Monkey socks I knit from Colinette Jitterbug three years ago? If not, I can tell you that I enjoyed the yarn while I knit with it and loved the resulting socks, but I was a bit disappointed with the yardage in the skein as well as with some knots.

Unfortunately, I have more bad news. Despite how often I've worn these socks over the past three years and despite the vinegar I've added to various washes, I regret to inform you that ...

they're still bleeding.

  1. They've upped the yardage. But that bleeding is scary. I definitely still have Jitterbug in my stash that will eventually become something. We shall see if that bleeds too ...

My verification word is "pasleye" which I think wants to be "Paisley" which is a pattern you could find in your sink if you really wanted to?

Vinegar doesn't really do much - have you tried Retayne or Synthrapol?
