Public Service Announcement

Do you remember the Monkey socks I knit from Colinette Jitterbug three years ago? If not, I can tell you that I enjoyed the yarn while I knit with it and loved the resulting socks, but I was a bit disappointed with the yardage in the skein as well as with some knots.

Unfortunately, I have more bad news. Despite how often I've worn these socks over the past three years and despite the vinegar I've added to various washes, I regret to inform you that ...

they're still bleeding.

They've upped the yardage. But that bleeding is scary. I definitely still have Jitterbug in my stash that will eventually become something. We shall see if that bleeds too ...

My verification word is "pasleye" which I think wants to be "Paisley" which is a pattern you could find in your sink if you really wanted to?

my multi year bleeding issues are with claudia handpaint... weeping cherries is what it should have been called.

Vinegar doesn't really do much - have you tried Retayne or Synthrapol?
