Just a Taste

It's slow going, but my Ivy League Vest is coming along.

I'm getting more and more used to the two-handed knitting thing, but this pattern is just complicated enough that I'll be taking a simpler project to Hurricane Knitting tomorrow night (Waterworks Barnes & Noble, starting at 7 p.m.).

I wondered how your Ivy Vest was coming along! It looks good. My Alcea is languishing in a basket while I give all these other projects with deadlines attention. I'm longing to knit her. Fair-isle knitting is still my favorite, peaceful and relaxing.

When I knit Tomato, I couldn't figure out the two-handed thing, my tension kept going all wonky. Got any tips?

I'm cruising along on my Postwar Mittens, but your Ivy League vest is looking fabulous! I'm so bummed I can't make it tomorrow night. Have fun without me! (this had better be a damn good play!)

That is lovely. Someday I hope to be confident enough in my knitability to try more complicated stuff like that.

It's looking beautiful! I have yet to try the two-handed knitting; someday though.

p.s. I'm getting some really stange verification words lately, this one is "crude". Sheesh!

I love the colors you're using - almost more than the ones for the "original" - well done! Can't wait to see how it comes along. Are you going to steek it? Egads, have to conquer that mountain some day!

Those colors are gorgeous together! Looks like you made the right choices there!
